Happy New Year

I would like to wish a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year to all my friends and followers.

I've actually made a card today and it should fit the challenge on Pixie Snippets which is running into two weeks this time around and with some lovely prizes too.  Backing paper is a large snippet from my box of papers and the the die cutting was done using scraps of various colours from by bits boxes. The trellis was cut from dark brown and layered onto some kraft card;  the bird house, bird feeder and birds cut were popped onto a cream pearly shape; finally a computer sentiment was added along with a few pearls.  It is quite good to get back to making something which isn't Christmas themed.

Trellis die - Couture Creations Tied Together
Bird House and Feeder - Signature dies from Joanna Sheen
Sentiment - Cuttlebug dies

  1. Lovely card Val! As you say, it's good to get away from Christmas cards for a while. And I didn't realise that couture Creations did a 'Tied Together' die - I thought they only did the embossing folder. It really does make a perfect trellis!

    Happy New Year!

  2. Lovely bird house and feeder card Val...that tied together die is gorgeous and makes a nice background on your spotty paper

  3. A gorgeous card Val. I love the trellis die, like Di I thought they only did the embossing folder. Another thing to add to my wish list!! Happy New Year.

  4. Lovely colouring again and I love the dies - I shall have to go and investigate!

  5. Lovely card Val, I really love the bird house and bird die! Happy New Year
