I'm dashing over to the Snippets Playground to hand in my homework for the latest challenge. This card was made a little while ago when I'd been trying to use up some stamped, coloured and die cut/fussy cut elements which had been left from previous projects. These chicks had all been stamped onto snippets of white card. I then used two of the sizes in the slatted square die set and cut them into snippets of kraft card, backed with squares of darker snippets. The sentiment was also cut from another snippet of the same dark card. Everything was then assembled onto a kraft card blank and that's it - my Snippets homework. We certainly need our warm coats plus scarves and gloves when we go out to play and the paddling pool has been stored away for now - unless of course we get some seriously chilly conditions when it might be transformed into an ice rink, if that's permitted by 'elf and safety' 🤣🤣

That's a really fun card full of chooks Val!
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. See you up in the treehouse for a mug of hot chocolate and extra marshmallows! The treehouse is looking spooky and cosy all at once with our carved pumpkins full of battery operated tealights!
GOOD IDEA about the ice rink! xxxx
Very cute Val, and great use of your slatted dies xx
ReplyDeleteEggcellent piece of homework Val, works great with the slatted squares xxx
ReplyDeleteGreat use of dies to showcase the small images, always difficult I think on how to use them. Oooh ice rink - maybe I can do a triple salchow!!!
