More Quirky Houses

There is always a silver lining - having to stay in because of the snow meant I could make some cards yesterday and here are some more quirky houses from Polkadoodle.  I've also managed to incorporate some more of my 'leftovers' to put this card together which has to be a bonus. The Top Note die cut shape has been embossed and the image layered over the top, sentiment produced by computer and layered using three punches from Stampin' Up; die cut corners from more matching scraps of card.

  1. Love the quirky design of the houses Val...lovely colours and well done for using up more of your scrap card for the corners...

  2. Love these quirky houses Val, lovely colouring. Do you keep all your scraps colour coded, you always seem to have just the right bit to embellish? I just cram all mine into a bag which came to a sticky end before Xmas when I asked Jim to empty my rubbish bag on bin day. You can guess the rest! Strange thing is the rubbish bag is in full view whereas my scraps were on the floor and not immediately visible:)

  4. Love the corenrs & your combination of green & brown really sings - aha - now I know why, it's the russet tone bringing out the red & green complimentary factor. Take care midst the snowiness - R's out clearing steps etc.......
