Make My Monday

Having completely missed the deadline for the Make My Monday challenge last week I was determined to get my card made in time for this WHITE ON WHITE Christmas card theme.  I used a piece of seasonal music backing paper - Papermania I think from a few years back and then embossed a tree using a cuttlebug embossing folder.  A piece of ribbon and a simple sentiment from chocolate Baroque stamped in grey and there it is - the adornments on the tree are in reality clear irridescent but they look pink on the scan, however we did have the option of adding one colour so maybe this will be OK.     Val you have done a lovely job of making your white card...and yes you are right there are so many different shades of white and love you touch of sparkle

    This is gorgeous Val, I love the white on white (really struggle with it myself) and the irridescent gems finish it off just right.

    this is lovely Val - don't blame you for making sure it is in time! I love white on white, especially for Christmas, and the sparkle just adds the finishing touch.

    I love the way your sheer ribbon looks on this & the music backing paper is absolutely delightful & so apt. Your rounded corners help to bring out the curly nature of the embossed tree & I love the little sparkle added by those iridescent gems. It's always fun to see how they change in the light - wonder what made the scanner think they're pink.
