Two posts in one day, but I just had to go ahead and make a more appropriate card for the Make My Monday challenge. Backing paper is again from Tim Holtz Vintage Shabby collection but with more obvious french text; the same Cuttlebug fleur de lys embossing folder using Coredinations blue card sanded to reveal the kraft core. I remembered I had a Spellbinders fleur de lys die set as well so I cut out some kraft card to layer the Arc de Triomphe image (stamp from Chocolate Baroque). Next time I have the bright idea of covering more than one challenge at a time I will try to ensure that my brain is properly in gear before I start!!
At least I have another card to pop into my 'cards suitable for men' box.
Love the colour combo on this card Val and your senior moment made me laugh! Your previous card is great too:)

Gosh you are on a roll today Val...and lots of Flue De Lys on your card, great background and of course that lovely frame

I really like the Kraft card against the scuffed Coredinations. A match made in heaven I think, lol! The Fleur de Lys both embossed and die cut look so classy.

Another beautiful card in gorgeous tones! I so love that folder you use and love how you've sanded it to give a distressed look (just love this look). Well done for producing too - your idea of combining two challenges is something I often try to do - at least you made it on time, I'm normally late for one or the other!

Super combination of blue & kraft/brown. I'm very partial to fleur de lys images & love the way you framed Notre Dame. I know what you mean about multi-tasking; you sometimes end up doing more than you bargained for. Simplify the little chattering imp cries......... or you'll have to do it all over again. I never learn but that's another story.
