Love Theme

Challenge 28 at Moving Along With the Times gave us a sketch to follow and the theme of love. I've used the free stamp again from Craft Stamper and I'm afraid it is another pink card - I will try to get away from pink next time! Papers are from Artylicious, love stamp from Elusive Images and I used cuttlebug embossing on some card sprayed with Glimmer mists.

Free Heart Stamp

I do like a bargain and the super free stamp designed by Glenda Waterworth and given away with Craft Stamper this month is certainly that! I've used it with some Artylicious paper, other paper from my stash, a Martha stewart border punch and yet more die cut shapes using Nellie dies.

Get Well Owl

Challenge 94 on Cute Card Thursday is 'New' - use something new, so I have made this card using my new Nellie dies to make this owl get well card. The owl is a free stamp from Craft Stamper, coloured with Copics and the background papers and sentiment embellishment are left over bits from a previous card which I made using Polkadoodles papers. I thought this would cheer up someone who isn't feeling well.

Retro Monochrome

A Happy New Year to Everyone!
This card is made using a new set of Nellies dies, a retro flower stamp from Elusive Images and paper and card from my stash. It is quite good to be making something other than Christmas cards but I am going to try to make some regularly throughout the year so that there aren't so many to do at once.

Birthday Owls

This card is for a seventeen year old and I hope she likes my choice of these great owls and background papers from Polkadoodles Back to Nature collection.

Birthday Roses

First of all I'd like to wish everyone a Happy Christmas and a Peaceful New Year - thank you for watching my blog and for the lovely comments during the year.

The roads outside my house are like a skating rink so I thought my best course today would be to stay in and make some cards. Luckily my goodies arrived from Stampin Up earlier in the week so have managed to have a play with the Rose is a Rose stamp set with Pale Plum and Perfect Plum ink pads for this birthday card - certainly makes a change from Christmas cards!! Background papers are from Artylicious and the stamps used for the greeting panel are by Elusive Images. Matching SU card was embossed with a cuttlebug folder and a ribbon and some gems finish off the card.

One I did earlier

This is a case of one I did earlier - it is a card made for a swap on the Graphicus Guild Yahoo group and now that it has safely reached its destination I can safely post it here. The background is Glimmer Mist with snowflakes over-stamped in Brilliance white. The trees and reindeer are Tim Holtz stamps.
