Going for Gold

Going for Gold is the theme of the challenge on the St Luke's Charity blog for August and there's just about time to enter if you've not done so already - I'm running late as usual!!   Obviously they had the Olympics in mind and were looking for a sporty slant to the cards.  I must say I don't seem to have a great deal of sports related stuff in my stash but thinking outside the box I decided to use this cute Diggity Dog image from Papermania, adding some gold Glitter dust on the cup.  There is just a bit of 3D with the pup and the rosette.

Do take a look at how their design team have interpreted this theme - there is a prize on offer too which has to be good don't you think?

  3. Oh I like the idea of the dog basket which your basket weave dog bone panel brings to mind. Lovely bit of thinking outside the box.

  7. Ah, this is such a lovely fun card Val. That little puppy is so sweet and I love the bone, lol! I'd have been stumped by the challenge as I'm hopeless at thinking outside the box, lol.
