There's a new theme at Tagalong (and ATC) Challenge and this time it is "Anything Autumn" and although I have very little in the way of crafty bits for Halloween, I've decided that will be my autumnal subject. The only item I have is a small stamp and die set which covers Halloween and Christmas and which I've had for many years, normally only using the Christmas elements. I smooshed some ink onto an ATC-sized piece of card, stamped, coloured and die cut the owl and pumpkin - also thought it really needed the spooky spider web as well. That's it - a relatively quick little ATC for the current theme.

Daisy Bug
I have a card to share today on which I've used a sticker for the main feature. There are quite a few stickers available at present, of various types but mostly they are really cute images and because a kind friend gifted me some to try I've been having a play. This little bug with a daisy was an obvious choice because I have some patterned paper which features daisies. The sticker itself was adhered to a piece of vellum which seems to be a good choice when it comes to peeling off the adhesive layer which could possibly damage some ordinary card (the adhesive is quite sticky and not always the easiest to peel away). The card was assembled by cutting a circular aperture into a square of card, popping the image behind and adding a matching frame for added interest. A die cut sentiment and a few toning gems completed the design.

Snippets Challenge #542
A Christmas card to take along to the Snippets Playground this time and I so nearly fell into the trap of ordering a newly released snow globe die which came with a selection of others, at extra cost, to use as 'infills' or scenes. However, I did pause and then remembered that I've had a snow globe die for many years, although sadly with no matching infills. I trawled through my large collection of Christmas-themed items - pulled out the said die along with another which appeared to be roughly the right size to fit the aperture and, although it came from a different source and at a different time, it was just right. I used a snippet of silver pearl card to die cut the globe, a snippet of white for the deer and trees, a snippet of blue paper for the background behind the scene and finally more smaller snippets of white for the sentiment and snowflake. I did have to print a sheet of design paper for the backing but having trimmed a piece to fit I'm now left with snippets to use for another card.
Snowglobe - die from Crealy, many years old
Scene - an unbranded die
