One Stamp - Different Looks

I have two cards to share today using the same stamp but with different looks.  I was tempted by this corner floral stamp in a sale and it's certainly already seen a fair bit of ink.

For this one I stamped the image in the corner of a piece of white card and stamped again on a post-it note to cut a mask so that I could sponge on some ink and stamp a little text .  After removing the mask the flower was coloured using matching ink and a sentiment added

For the second card I sponged three colours of ink onto a piece of white card and added some texture by stamping in light grey.  Sentiment was die cut with a shadow in pink to match one of the background colours and I drew a wiggly border using a fine black pen.

Quick Card

A really quick card to share today - simply a piece of wide washi tape applied to a square of cream card, topped with a die cut flower and a sentiment, all on a kraft card base.  The flower was die cut from dark brown card and the matching sentiment produced on the computer. Not really much more to be said about this one 😊

Playground Challenge #486

Time for another Playground Challenge and some cool treats in the treehouse I hear😊.  A CAS card from me this time using a few snippets and a whole card blank.  I've been re-visiting the use of a Gelli plate with acrylic paint which is where I started some years ago but sadly I was never particularly pleased with the results until I switched to using inks instead.  However during some online chat with a crafty friend we discussed using acrylics again so I had a bit of an experimental day recently and I was slightly more pleased with what I produced.  That said, I still think that, for me, inks would be the preferred choice., but each to her own πŸ˜‰.  Anyway back to my card - I used a snippet of one of the Gelli prints along with a snippet of toning plain card and a snippet of white to die cut two flowers which I glued together to give them a bit more stability.  A stamped sentiment and that's it, job done for my Snippets card this time.  Some lovely prizes as always and I'm sure there are plenty of snippets just waiting to be used up so why not have a go??

Not many snippets but I remembered to take a picture!
