Pixie Snippets Challenge 222

I hope everyone has a great Easter weekend despite the weather which isn't the best I must say although Friday was a beautiful day so not all bad.  I had enough snippets left over from my recent butterfly card to cut out some flowers and also a few more bits and pieces around but although similar in colour they weren't quite right together.  A touch of Peacock Feathers distress ink came to the rescue here and then I decided to go through my monochrome snippets and luckily found some pieces of grey and white card to add to the mix.  The main background was a leftover snippet of glossy card which had been treated to the wax paper/embossing folder technique; the banners were cut from snippets of pool party (embossed and inked), grey and white.  For the flower I hunted out some floral stamps with matching punches and die cut a white swirl.  I think it has come together to make a reasonable card and at least some more of my oddments have  been used up and for once I've not actually made more oddments - which is sometimes the case I have to admit.  Do hop over to the Snippets Playground to see some lovely cards and the so useful die which is on offer to a lucky winner.

Background - wax paper resist using Sue Wilson embossing folder
Banners - dies from Stampin' Up
Swirl - Sizzix strip die
Flower - Floral stamps with matching punches all from Stampin' Up.
