A Workshop

Yesterday I attended a workshop on watercolour painting for greetings cards. The tutor handed out paper and then the dreaded 'D' word was mentioned! Well, I don't really do drawing so managed to produce wonky tugboats, wobbly beach huts and weird lighthouses (nautical theme going on here). However I did use one of my efforts to produce a card and after all it IS an original signed watercolour!!

I know, I know - I need more practice but it was fun and I do enjoy a challenge. I think maybe I should stick to stamped images because then at least an expert has done the original drawing.

  1. Val I think your Lighthouse is lovely, nothing wrong with your drawing...the blue skies and birds makes me think of summer....roll on.

  2. You loon! It's great, you should try doing some more un-nautical (is that a word?!) themes. Didn't realise it was going to have a background, I was imagining a little lighthouse on it's own! Looks very artistic you know.:) Luc

  3. I think you did an amazing job! I can make a box look like a box lol!!

  4. Hey its FAB ! i would struggle with the little birds ha ha
